This piece is painted on a giant conk mushroom measuring 13x18 inches, a truly rare find with its rounded, petal-like shape. Most conks are half-moon shaped, making this smooth, flowing form a fun natural canvas.
The painting is an original—and the octopus design is exclusive to this piece. One edge of the mushroom was naturally broken, and I’ve artistically repaired it using real turkey tail mushrooms set in resin, giving the artwork a beautifully earthy, organic touch. This piece does not include the glass floats.
